Werewolf - 9 Stages of Life

This is a HUGE picture... had to minimize it, this version is only half as big as the one i worked with.

I can't believe it's done!

For the last three days i have been doing nothing else but working on this (apart from eating and sleeping).
At first i sketched out all those wolfies, then scanned them and drew the final lines, then i wrote the text and colored them.
it. took. for. ever.
But now, i'm really happy with the result
I have had the idea for a pic like that for ages, but never managed to draw all those stages.
A lot of people have drawn references for the anatomy of werewolves, but i never saw an artwork that documents the stages of life of these creatures.
(btw, the 7-year-old is trying to catch an invisible flying donut, just in case you wonder...)

<sub>Yes, i left out the shapeshifting, and i know there are some fault-finders out there who keep saying "if it doesn't shapeshift, it's not a werewolf".
BUT:
1) werewolves are fictional creatures. if i don't want mine to shapeshift, then they don't.
2) i call them "werewolves" in the sense of "creature, that is half human and half wolf", because that's what the word means.
And, most important,
3) it would have been too much work to include stages of shapeshifting in every age. x.X

dude, actually i don't even want to discuss that xD
well, just wanted to explain ^^ i guess you know what i mean ^^</sub>

This piece of art was not only challenging because i had to draw that many characters, but also because i had to write all the text in english, so all of you can read and (hopefully) understand it ^^
i'm not a native speaker (i'm german .__.) so i hope i didn't make too many mistakes concerning the grammar, vocabulary and such ^^'
I had a friend of mine take a look at it and check it for possible mistakes, so if there is still one left, blame her


Anyway, i loved working on this, so i hope you like it a bit, too
